Sapele components to your specification

Boards and slats with an agreed section and length. Specify a rounded or chamfered edge, machining requirements and surface finish. For replacement slats, include the existing fixing layout and any constraints of the frame.

Durable timber needs a well-designed component

Species alone does not determine service life. Material quality, section, water drainage, fixings and maintenance also matter. We agree outdoor-use requirements and surface protection for the project rather than promising maintenance-free timber.

Sapele or iroko?

Compare the species against the intended use, desired appearance and maintenance requirements. Natural colour and grain vary between boards and batches, so a sample is not a guarantee of identical colour throughout an order.

What do we need for a quote?

Species, thickness × width × length in mm, number of pieces, edge machining and intended use. Attach a PDF, DXF, DWG or STEP drawing if available. Pricing and lead times depend on the specification and material availability; every order is quoted individually.
